Human Expert Review — $19.90
An automated check compares numbers. Sometimes you want a person to read the actual document — the wording, the scope, the things a spreadsheet cannot see — and tell you plainly what to do next. That is this tier.
What the reviewer does with your quote
- Reads every line of the quote you submit — scope, materials, labor, fees, and the fine print.
- Runs the full automated report first (included in this tier), then checks what the numbers alone can't judge: vague bundled items, scope that is described twice, and work that is missing but will surely be billed later.
- Writes your negotiation list — the specific items worth pushing back on, with the published national figure behind each one, so the conversation is about numbers, not arguing.
- Gives you the questions to ask your plumber before signing, in the order to ask them.
How delivery works
- Pay the one-time $19.90 with PayPal.
- Email your quote (photo, PDF, or pasted text) to [email protected] from your PayPal email, with any context that matters — your area, the age of the home, whether the job is urgent.
- Your review is delivered by email within 24 hours on business days (Monday–Friday). Orders placed on weekends or holidays are delivered by the end of the next business day at the latest.
Want the numbers only, without a human read? The Full Report is the automated line-by-line check, delivered by email within 24 hours.
What this tier is not
- It is not a promise that you will save a specific amount. The deliverable is the analysis — negotiable items and their evidence — not a guaranteed outcome.
- It is not a safety or quality judgment. We review prices and line items only, and never advise that work is safe to proceed with.
- Support after delivery covers questions about your report. It does not extend to reviewing your whole plumbing system.
Refunds: this is a digital report, so sales are generally final. But if we fail to deliver your review within the stated time (24 hours on business days; weekend and holiday orders by the end of the next business day), or the review does not cover your quote line by line as described, email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full.
Privacy: this site collects nothing and the free checker runs entirely in your browser. If you buy, PayPal handles your payment — we never see your card details — and we only receive the quote you choose to email us so we can prepare your review.
Ranges used in the review are U.S. national figures from published cost guides, sourced and dated in our rules library, provided for information only. They are not a guarantee of a fair local price. PlumbCheck reviews prices and line items only; it does not assess the safety or quality of any plumbing work, and it is not licensed plumbing, appraisal, or legal advice.
